SITAKS Committees
Events Advisory Committee - Doug Richards/Randy Roebuck, Co-Chairs
SITAKS focuses on providing programming that educates management level software and IT executives. We provide a mix of management roundtables, breakfast briefings, and networking events geared towards industry hot topics and emerging issues. Do you have cutting edge topic suggestions? If so, join this committee and help formulate SITAKS' schedule of events.
Public Policy / Economic Development Committee - Perry Puccetti/Neal Sharma, Co-Chairs
Committee members will help to develop the SITAKS state and federal public policy platform, plus be called on to share their "company story" with legislators and policymakers. Visit http://www.kslegislature.org/legsrv-legisportal/redistricting.do to find your state representatives.
Membership/Member Services Committee - Wayne Morgan/Laurie Minard, Co-Chairs
Committee members will assist in making introductions to secure new SITAKS members and sponsors, as well as help to identify high value discount services and providers.
Workforce / Training Committee - John Repko/Ravi Pendse, Co-Chairs
Kansas is experiencing a critical shortage of technology workers and our strategy includes a three-pronged approach to:
-
increase the pipeline of students choosing software and IT as a career;
-
retain Kansas' computer science and engineering graduates; and
-
recruit out-of-state talent leveraging the www.comehometokansas.com campaign launched by KTEC.
